in Spain and Germany!
The members of "Canarias en Berlín" have elected their new President
On 11 February 2010 in the offices of the German-Canary Society, Berlin: The elections were held. Many members came. Finally, it was about the election of President, Board and committee members. have all people who fought with great dedication, love of the Canaries, a lot of energy and their personal leisure time and in 2009 brought the club back a bit forward.
Thanks to that effect was therefore Krawietz Javier Rodriguez, the outgoing President to the Board and the assessors with Eva-Maria Gonzalez Flórez, Julio Flórez Gonzalez, Leon W. Schönau (also as a press, photo and Internet Officer), Paula Rodriguez Mateo, Manuel Gómez Ruiz and Susan Weinrich.
for the new three-year Legislative period 2010-2013 the company is now following leadership team at the head of the association:
Manuel Gómez-Ruiz, as the new president, Julio Gonzalez Flórez, again as Vice President, Eva-Maria Flórez Gonzales, again as treasurer, Carmelo Molina Juan Rivero as the new secretary, Paula Rodríguez Mateo, Susan Weinrich and Javier Rodríguez Krawietz as assessors.
all promised to place especially in this anniversary year 2010, all effort into making the appeal and charisma of "Canarias en Berlín" as is now already 10 years existing club of the "Cultural Ambassador of the Canary Islands in Germany 'to strengthen further. Canarian Culture Spring in Berlin: IX. Canary Cultural Days are coming!
cover for almost three months of snow and ice Berlin. Hard to believe that behind, below, above or sooner or later prepared the spring. Since we have "the islands of eternal spring" are familiar, we strongly believe in the coming spring and have our traditional culture days already mal fest platziert.
Vom 14. April bis 16. April finden die X. Kulturtage der Kanaren dieses Jahr im Instituto Cervantes Berlin statt.
Dank der langjährigen guten Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Deutsch-Kanarischen Gesellschaft und dem Instituto Cervantes haben wir damit einen ausgezeichneten Ort gefunden, unser Jubiläum angemessen in der Mitte Berlins zu starten. Kurze Vorschau * an dieser Stelle:
- 14th April 2010, 19:00 clock, opening night with the theme "Alexander von Humboldt and the Canary Islands, a popular science dialogue with scientists from Madrid and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to the heritage of the great explorer Alexander von Humboldt and what we still new and so surprising to say.
- 15th April 2010, 19:00 clock: "El Hierro" - A new book about the smallest Canary Islands, which does its title of "UN-Biosphere Reserve" all honor and speeches around the world with many sustainable energy and environmental protection measures on its own. The musical component of this philosophical attitude, attentive and respectful to the earth, its goods and people to work around is to "Bimbach. A group of Canarian and international musicians lived since 2005, each in July, together for ten days on El Hierro, developed and tested, and music together and then displays the results in Festival concerts demonstrated. All this is in the subsequent film, "El Surrealismo Bimbach" are also visible.
- 16th April 2010, 19:00 clock, last evening :
