EDITORIAL December 2009 / January 2010
Dear members, dear friends, supporters and sponsors of "Canarias en Berlín"
It's that time again: Anything can and will and is going home.
Canarios from Germany are again found in the Canary Islands. And of course German as a tourist, temporary "winter refugees" or even permanent residents.
The current Canarian campaign "Say NO to the Winter Blues" not only in Iceland, but here are a few "refugees" more motivated to move south.
Germany depopulated over Christmas ... ;-) For the members and friends of our club who have remained here anyway, but the Christmas Berlin shines brightest glory. There are in Berlin these days before and after the party and at the turn around to enjoy a wealth of culture, art and show. Crisis go home!
2010, a Anniversary year for us. "Canarias en Berlín" has already been in 10 years! We have many plans and are hoping again for your enthusiasm and support for it.
The first dates of our club in the new year have already been fixed and can be recorded (for detailed information, as always, via members-round mail and here on our website):
- Thursday 11 February 2010, 19:00 clock, business premises Spenerstrasse 18, Berlin-Tiergarten, Annual General Meeting of Members of the Canary-German society, and elections to the Board and Executive Board (Members only, by invitation only!).
- Thursday 11 March 2010, 19:30 clock, 1.Stammtisch in the new year 2010 at the El Borriquito " (The stock tables January, 01.01.2010, 04.02.2010 and February have to be canceled).
- 14 April to 16 April 2010 X. Canarian Culture Days in Berlin
